Enjoy El Bornliciouzz

  • One of the highlights of El Born is its location and its streets expanding like a maze in the heart of Barcelona. Its walk is nestled between the Ciudadela, the Ramblas, the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar dating from 1329  and built in Catalan Gothic, and the Mercat del Born, a former food market. Shopping center for excellence in the Middle Ages, Born has now become a place full of charming alternative entertainments and restaurants  of all sorts. The streets still retain the name of the trade or profession to which they belonged, some of them missing, as Vidriers (glaziers), Espaseria (swordsmen), Argentería (silver), to name a few.
  • If you really want to enjoy your holidays in Barcelona you found the right place. A nice double room in front of the Catedral Santa Maria del Mar in the heart of the city is waiting for you. Our friends will be delighted with a fresh homemade breakfast every morning before getting ready to walk or cycle around the neighborhood and visit the main and historical attractions of the city. The room is completely furnished: double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, a recessed shelf, a drawer recessed, fan / heater and a small balcony.
  • The neighborhood is surrounded by the best bars and restaurants in the city as confirmed by Tripavisor. Next to the park thereis a  Tram stop, bus stops, Estació del Nord (230) and Estacion de Francia (800) and three subway stops around: Jaume I (270), Barceloneta (450) and Arco de Triunfo (800). The area is surrounded by the most typical Barcelona shops, including some very historical. In the same building there is one of the oldest shops in Barcelona where you can sample typical Catalan products. At few meters you will also find places to rent bicycles or scooters.
